"Born in London’s West End and survived the Blitz, I moved to Wales in 1979 with my husband and two children.

After 24 years at Rockwell, I retired in 2000.

Since living in Bridgend I have been involved with Air Cadets and Scouts and currently manage the Bryntirion and Laleston Community Centre.  I was elected to the Laleston Community Council in 2004."

I was Chair of Governors at Tremains Infants School for 10 years and now sit as a Governor for Bryntirion Infants School.  I am also a member of the Bridgend Governors Association."

"Bridgend LibDems have chosen Cllr Major Wayne Morgan MBE as their prospective Parliamentary candidate for the forthcoming General Election.

Wayne was born in Cilfynydd and joined the Army as a boy soldier where through his significant contribution he rose to the rank of Major.  Since retiring from the Army he and his wife Marilyn have settled in Broadlands.  Wayne was elected to represent Broadlands on Bridgend County Borough Council in 2008."
